3-Hydroxytyramine hydrochloride (CAS: 62-31-7), white acicular crystalline or crystalline powder; soluble in water, methanol and hot 95% ethanol, soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, insoluble in ether, chloroform, benzene; odorless, slightly bitter. Used for making pressure-boosting drugs and biochemical reagents.
It is obtained by opening the ring of ethylpiperine. Ethylpiperine and phenol were added to the reaction pot, cooled, and hydrochloric acid was added slowly. The temperature was raised to 110℃and refluxed for 12-44 H. When the reaction reaches the end point, it is slightly cold and stirred evenly with water. Static stratification, separate the phenol layer. The water layer was extracted with isopropyl acetate. The extracted water layer was decompressed (8.0 kPa) and evaporated to dry. Then 1/2 of ethanol and hydrochloric acid were added to the water layer and dissolved by heating. Cooling, crystallizing, filtering, washing and drying filter cake with ethanol, the finished product is obtained. The yield was 74%.
